HR Generalist - Early Career Talent Management

Location: Addison, IL

SunSource is looking for an energetic and self-driven individual to provide strategic and tactical HR support to our early career talent development programs.  These programs include our Grow Our Own Sales development program and early career internship program.  This HR Partner will lead the enhancement of program related talent strategies and college relations, curriculum design, indirect oversite of program participants and coordination of development activities with key business unit partners.  

Key Responsibilities:   

  •  Lead the training and development strategy for the Salesforce Development Program (Grow Our Own (GO2).  This includes partnering across business units in the design of the program and curriculum, development of trainees, and execution of the strategy across SunSource 
  • Lead all program related processes for both internship and sales development programs, including associate onboarding, performance management within program, talent assessment, business unit partnership in sales placement, etc. 
  • Plan and manage all program components, which includes, logistics, timing and execution of the GO2 Curricula.  This will also require daily management of program participants, 1:1 associate sessions, Manager/SBU/mentor sessions, HR updates, evaluation of sales and technical training effectiveness, etc. 
  •  Partner with talent acquisition team in the implementation of our College/University Talent Acquisition strategy.  This includes participation in campus recruiting events as well as partnering with business units’GO2 Program teams in ongoing College/University partnerships (classroom visits, social recruiting events, etc.)  

 

Your program management, self-motivation, and understanding of selling methodologies are a foundation to a rewarding career experience with SunSource.  Successful candidates will have: 

  • 5 + years progressive experience gained in growth oriented organization
  • 3-5 years in Human Resources program management experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area OR two-year Associates Degree in a Business Discipline 
  • Planning and organizing, communication, team leadership, and collaboration skills 
  • This position will travel for college/university relations as well as partnering with strategic business units, up to 15%.
